A story

Soon after my cell phone died of water damage Sarah had everyone over for a games night. We played pictionary and a similar game of the Meads' invention. I later passed my new cell phone around, entreating the last of the boys to put their numbers in too. Every time I handed the phone over I said, "My phone wanted to swim in the water feature - alas it was not seaworthy" or something along that party line and Rebecca or was it Ange or was it Aimee (? unsure) said, "I love how you have almost a script for what happened to your phone" and I did. I had a script because I liked the sound of the word "water feature" and thought it was a sentence well said. Clever, like the kind of girl I'd quite like to be and flirt with being sometimes.

I don't know why that memory came, just now.
